Come On In

Here is an old photo of an old mine shaft that was still open just outside New Idria. 

If you haven't been to New Idria then you have to see it.  Its an old Ghost Town that was used back in the day to house the miners that worked along the Panoche Hills.  I don’t know what they were mining for exactly but it looks like they ran out of whatever they were looking for because they simply closed up shop and left.
